Nana Konadu Contest is Historic – Mr. Tei Nyaunu

The member of Parliament (MP) for Lower Manya Krobo Distric, Mr. Michael Tei Nyaunu has described the decision made by the former first Lady of the Republic of Ghana and the President of the 31^st December Women’s Movement, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings to contest for the Presidency in 2012 as historic and a sign of bravery.

He said the former first lady is the best candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), and added that the party is not like it used to be because it is being led by someone who is unable to prosecute formal officials of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration, who caused financial lose to the state.

The MP who was speaking in an address during the official launch of the flag-bearership of the formal First Lady in Accra, rated the NDC government led by His Excellency, John Evans Atta Mills to a new Yutong Bus which is veering off the road and called on all to support Nana Konadu for a better change in the NDC and the nation as a whole.

Mr. Tei Nyaunu also accused the Mills’ administration of causing the NDC many losses in cases in their two and a half year in office.
